Lair and Lair Actions
Airachnid's lair is one where she rigs the odds in her favor, usually an environment where she can move freely while attempting to trap her enemies like flies caught in her sinister web. While in her lair, Airachnid has the following benefits:
- At the beginning of her first turn of combat, Airachnid can spawn webs which cover her lair. A creature who attempts to move through these webs must succeed on a DC 17 Dexterity (Acrobatics) or become restrained by the webs. While restrained, that creature may use an action to attempt to escape the restraining webs (DC 17 Strength saving throw). Alternatively, a creature may move through the area at half their speed and not need make a Dexterity saving throw.
- Insecticons answer the call of their queen and do her bidding without question. Once per combat, Airachnid can call upon a Swarm of Insects with base HP 90 to fight.
- Airachnid's lair has an antimagic field effect powered by her machinations. Player's can discover the source which control the field with a successful DC 15 investigation check. Reprogramming or destroying the controls will end the antimagic field effect.
