Regeneration. The anubite regains 10 hit points at the start of its turn. If the anubite takes fire or radiant damage, this trait doesn't function at the start of the anubite's next turn. The anubite's body is destroyed only if it starts its turn with 0 hit points and doesn't regenerate.
Turn Immunity. The anubite is immune to the effects of turn undead.
Action Melee Attack. The anubite makes two bone sickle attacks and one bite attack.
Bone Sickle. Melee Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 8 (2d4 + 3) slashing damage.
Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +6 to hit, reach 5 ft., one willing creature, or a creature that is grappled by the vampire, incapacitated, or restrained. Hit: 6 (1d6 + 3) piercing damage plus 7 (2d6) necrotic damage. The target's hit point maximum is reduced by an amount equal to the necrotic damage taken, and the anubite regains hit points equal to that amount. The reduction lasts until the target finishes a long rest. The target dies if this effect reduces its hit point maximum to 0.
Action Ranged Attack. RangedWeapon Attack: +# to hit, range #/# ft., # target. Hit: # (#d# + #) [damage type] damage.
Description
Wickedly agile, Anubites serve well as scouts and flankers. Created by Anubis during his rise and freed by his demise, they wander arid regions, searching for purpose. Some find it in wealth, others in religion. Viciously loyal to those they deem worthy, they make a fantastic ally - or a fearsome foe.
