Magic Resistance. The Banneret has advantage on saving throws against spells and other magical effects.
Unusual Nature. The Banneret doesn’t require air, food, drink, or sleep.
Charge. If the Black Gallant moves at least 20 feet straight toward a target and then hits it with a Mantle Hammer attack on the same turn, the target takes an extra 7 (3d6) force damage. If the target is a creature, it must succeed on a DC 13 Strength saving throw or be knocked prone.
Unceasing Sentinel. The Back Gallant has advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on hearing or sight.
Immutable Form. The Black Gallant is immune to any spell or effect that would alter its form.
Siege Monster. The Black Gallant deals double damage to objects and structures.
Lesser Reflector. If the Black Gallant's saving throw succeeds and the spell is of 3rd level or lower, the spell has no effect on the sentinel and instead targets the caster.
Multiattack. The Black Gallant makes four Mantle Hammer melee attacks or four Heavy Rifle ranged weapon attacks.
Mantle Hammer. Melee Weapon Attack: +6 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 9 (4d6 + 6) bludgeoning damage.
Heavy Rifle. Ranged Weapon Attack: +4 to hit, range 80/240 ft., one target. Hit: 15 (3d8 + 2) piercing damage.
Grenade Launcher (Recharge 5-6). The Black Gallant launches an explosive charge at a point within 120 feet. Each creature in a 15-foot-radius sphere centered on that point must make a DC 15 Dexterity saving throw, taking 17 (5d6) fire damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.
Flamethrower (Recharge 5–6). The Black Gallant exhales fire in a 15-foot cone. Each creature in that area must make a DC 15 Dexterity saving throw, taking 27 (6d8) fire damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.
Dispersal Field. The Black Gallant adds 5 to its AC against one attack that would hit it. To do so, the Black Gallant must see the attacker.
Description
The AB-250 "Black Gallant", is an experimental new variant of the much beloved Banneret models, clad in the latest techno-wizardry to pour from the foundries and workshops of Atlas. These constructs were tall humanoid mechanical constructs intended to supplement an average soldier, serving as both a mid-sized heavy weapons platform and useful diversionary tool in the event of attacks. The Black Gallant is outfitted with a large weapons kit, including a heavy rifle, an oversized maul for melee fighting, and a grenade launcher mounted in a small weapon pod over the shoulder of the machine.
Some models incorporated weapon changes, such as wrist-mounted blades, tower shields, and even flamethrowers.
