Description
The Golden Eagle Wardens are a paramilitary unit paid and supplied by the duke of each duchy in the kingdom of Eyntre. Units of rangers are typically given orders by their duke or his delegated proxy, but the king can call up the rangers to his service at any time for any of the reasons listed in the Celadon Accords (an agreement between the king and his dukes on a number of economic and military points, signed shortly after the coronation of King Kenric I, grandfather of the current king, Kenric II). Their internal command structure is somewhat fluid, with regional commands that roughly equate to county borders. Regional commanders serve at the leisure of their duke, and common lower-ranked officers include captains and lieutenants. Otherwise, the rangers don't get overly bothered with ranks and titles.
