Description
Baba Raga is a crone of both fortune and misfortune. Her personality can shift on a whim and should be approached cautiously. Someone who approaches her with good intentions and seeks guidance may be granted her favor when done correctly. Approaching her with ill intent, and due respect may cause her to lash out and become dangerous. Additionally if to many questions or the wrong questions are asked of her she may again lash out in violence. Despite this it is easy to appease the crone with gifts she finds to be extravagant.
She takes on the typical appearance of an old hag riding a Mortar and Pestle, but may also take on the appearance of a more kind older woman depending on her mood. To lure young men in she may take on the appearance of a younger maiden in an attempt to get them to trust her.
Baba Raga is also known as Baba Yaga and is the elder sister. Baba Raga considers herself the wisest of the three and is known to grant wishes to those who wish to have their deepest desires fulfilled. Despite being wise, Baba Raga is still temperamental and will do with her power as she sees fit.
