Shocking Scales. Whenever a creature hits aimatus with melee attack, that creature takes 7 (2d6) lightning damage.
Multiattack. The aimatus makes a bite attack and two claw attacks.
Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +7 to hit; reach 5 ft.; one target. Hit: 13 (2d8 + 4) piercing damage plus 7 (2d6) lightning damage.
Claw. Melee Weapon Attack: +7 to hit; reach 5 ft.; one target. Hit: 9 (1d10 + 4) slashing damage.
Lightning Breath (recharge 5-6). Aimatus exhales lightning in a 30-foot cone. each creature in the area must make Dexterity saving throw DC 14 or take 22 (5d8) lightning damage, or half damage on a successful save.
Description
The aimatus are huge winged dragons with the head similar to a bird and long neck, their torso is humanoid, and have long arms that end in claws. They fly over the vast plains of the deserts, usually accompanied by a thunderstorm.
Terror of the Storm. The aimatus have a special affinity with the electric storms, they fly inside their clouds and lightning, looking for prey to hunt, their body is constantly electrified and they can exhale electricity from their mouth.
Collectors of the Desert. The aimatus, like the rest of the dragons usually accumulate treasures in their lairs, they build them in caverns on top of boulders or in the walls of gorges found in the desers. They go hunting during the storms, and after devouring their victims they collect their belongings, especially bright objects such as coins and gems, and take them to their lair.
Draconian rivals. The aimatus usually share habitat with blue dragons with they compete for territory and prey, they form groups to expel some blue dragon of great size of the territory.
