Power Surge. Every time that Adal foils a spell using Counterspell, the next Cantrip or Spell that Adal uses will cause 5 Force extra damage.
Spellcasting. Adal is a 11-level spellcaster. Its spellcasting ability is Inteligence (spell save DC 15, +8 to hit with spell attacks). Adal has following Wizard spells prepared:
Cantrips (at will): Green-Flame Blade, Booming Blade, Fire Bolt, Sword Burst, Shocking Grasp, Lighting Lure and Mending.
1st level (4 slots): Magic Missile, Burning Hands, Shield, Witch Bolt and Mage Armor.
2nd level (3 slots): Scorching Ray, Shatter, Darkness and Warding Wind.
3rd level (3 slots): Counterspell, Dispel Magic, Fireball and Lighting Bolt.
4rd level (1 slot): Banishment and Storm's Sphere.
Multiattack: Adal makes two longsword attacks or one Cantrip or Spell.
Action Melee Attack. Warmage's Longsword: +8 to hit, reach 5 ft., 1 target. Hit: 7 (1d8 + 3) Slashing damage plus 2 Force damage.
Warmage's Longsword: May use the Special Trait of his sword spending from 1 to 5 crystals that contains a Magic Missile each.
Arcane Deflection: Adal may use his reaction to parry an attack that otherwise would hit him, adding +2 AC or +4 to Saving Throws against that attack. If used, he cannot cast spells or cantrips until the end of his next turn.
Description
Adal ir'Wynarn is the Royal Minister of Magic and the First Warlord of Aundair. He is a member of both the Aundairian Royal Family and the Aundairian Triumvirate.
