Posted Jul 7, 2025This unit is so beautifully balanced, wizards of the coast needs to take extensive notes. A high armor class resembles the toughness and deflective capabilities of bahamut's exalted platinum scales with great accuracy, while also providing an even number for the Dungeon Master to look at to please their brain and stimulate imaginative thinking. The Hit Points are similarly mentally helpful, and they simulate the Dragon Kings unmatched endurance and unrivaled might. Bahamut's speed is a great reflection of his universal power. It's not small, it's simple, and shows the platinum dragon's humility to walk among mankind. Bahamut has powerful stats across the board, with great bonuses in all of them. The stats show his unparalleled power and status, with the stats to defeat not just agents of evil, but the great leaders of evil as well. Bahamut's high dexterity is reflected in his high dexterity saving throw bonus, showing his unmatched grace in the air as he soars on shimmering wings. The Dragon King's history bonus is a reminder of his knowledge and incomprehensible age. Bahamut isn't just old, he's ancient, and has lived through all times and learned all the secrets of the universe. Bahamut has resistance to all damage, showing the armor and toughness his shining scales provide, proving that he really is the Platinum dragon of legend. His immunity to all conditions similarly supports this, as Bahamut's scales also deflect magic and trickery of all kinds. Bahamut has a challenge rating of 30, made to strike awe into players that they are meeting such a powerful entity. This challenge rating is second to none, and is an amazing show of Bahamut's power and status.
