Cursed Energy Resistance. The Wyvern takes half damage against cursed energy.
Devil's Sight. Magical darkness doesn't impede the wyvern's darkvision.
Drag&Drop. If the shadow Wyvern flies at least 30 feet straight toward a target and hits it with a claw attack on the same turn, a Large or smaller target is grappled (escape DC 12). Until this grapple ends, the target is restrained, and the shadow Wyvern can't grapple another target. While the target is grappled, the shadow Wyvern can only ascend 30 feet while flying, and can choose to end the grapple and drop the target anytime during its following turns. The target suffers falling damage.
Fire Incarnate. The Vengeful Spirit's influence gives the Wyvern the ability to engulf it's body in violent hellfire, as the spirit itself can as. While this fire rages all weapon attacks made by this creature deal and additional 1d4 fire damage (included in its attacks). All fire damage dealt by the wyvern ignores a target's resistance to fire damage, and immunity to fire is instead treated as resistance.
Flyby. The shadow Wyvern doesn't provoke an opportunity attack when it flies out of an enemy's reach.
Mind Link. The wyvern has a telepathic link and can communicate with its rider so long as they are on the same plane. The wyvern always knows the exact location of its rider, so long as they are on the same plane.
Multiattack. The shadow wyvern makes two attacks: one with its bite and with its stinger. While flying, it can use its claws in place of one other attack.
Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 11 (2d6 + 4) piercing damage plus 2 (1d4) fire damage.
Claws. Melee Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 13 (2d8 + 4) slashing damage plus 2 (1d4) fire damage.
Stinger. Melee Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 11 (2d6 + 4) slashing damage plus 2 (1d4) fire damage. The target must make a DC 15 Constitution saving throw, taking 24 (7d6) poison damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.
Shadow Breath (Recharge 5-6). The Wyvern exhales a 60ft. cone of magical darkness. A creature with darkvision can't see through this darkness, and nonmagical light can't illuminate it. If the breath overlaps an area of light created by a spell of 2nd level or lower, the spell that created the light is dispelled. The Darkness dissipates after 1 minute.
