Evoke Rage. At the beginning of the avatars turn, each creature within 600 feet that can see or hear the avatar must succeed on a DC 30 wisdom or go berserk, as described in the Berserker's Axe entry in the DMG, page 155. The creature can make the save at the beginning of each following turn, ending the effect on itself on a success. While berserk, that creature gains the Double Strike ability.
Double Strike. When a creature with double strike attacks, roll for damage first. If the result is higher than the opposing creature's AC, the attacker does not need to roll for the initial attack. If the attacker rolls less damage than the defender's AC, roll the attack normally, using the previous damage roll for damage. Then the creature attacks with the same weapon again as part of the same action.
Summoning. The Avatar of Slaughter can be summoned for {6}{R}{R}. The summoner is not affected by the Avatar's Evoke Rage.
Double Strike. The Avatar of Slaughter has Double Strike.
Blade Master. The Avatar of Slaughter can attack each creature within the range of his weapon when he attacks with his sword.
Multiattack. The Avatar of Slaughter makes two attacks with his sword.
Sword. Melee Weapon Attack: +23 to hit, reach 20 ft., 1 target. Hit: 23 (8d4 + 3) bludgeoning damage plus 19 (6d4 + 4) fire damage.
Description
A gigantic, crudely forged sword makes up each of his forearms, and these swords glow red-hot. The head is a mask grinning suspiciously and has 150-foot long horns protruding from either side. Adrift between the horns are 12 20-foot tall swords of pure radiance. His body is covered in plate armor, making him extra resistant to attacks from all sides. At his navel is a 30-foot diameter emblem of a skull, enclosed in spikes. You have just seen the Avatar of Slaughter.
