Magic Resistance. Axolglot has advantage on saving throws against spells and other magical effects.
Bolstered Mind. Axolglot has resistance to psychic damage, and is immune to being paralyzed, charmed, and stunned through magical means.
Sunlight Sensitivity. While in sunlight, Axolglot has disadvantage on attack rolls, as well as on Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on sight.
Spellcasting. Axolglot is a 3rd-level spellcaster. His spellcasting ability is Intelligence (spell save DC 15, +7 to hit with spell attacks). Axolglot has the following wizard spells prepared:
Cantrips (at will): mind sliver, mage hand, minor illusion
2/day: earth tremor
1/day: detect thoughts
Multiattack. Axolglot either makes two Mechaxhampicter attacks and uses one spell, or he makes one Deep Thunderous Smite attack and one use of his Psychic Bow. Alternatively, he can forgo his attacks to make one use of his Duergar Commander ability if available. He can also forgo his attacks to make one use of his Darkened Psionic Blast ability if he is missing more than half of his Hit Points.
Psychic Bow. Ranged Weapon Attack: +6 to hit, range 40/60 ft., 1 target. Hit: 11 (1d4 + 8) psychic damage.
Mechaxhampicter. Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, range 5 ft., 1 target. Hit: 16 (2d8 + 6) bludgeoning, piercing, or slashing damage, or 10 (1d6 + 6) bludgeoning if in Scepter mode.
Deep Thunderous Smite (Recharges after 2 Rounds, Hammer/Scepter Mode Only). Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, range 5 ft., 1 target. Hit: 16 (2d8 + 6) bludgeoning or piercing damage, and 14 (2d6 + 6) thunder damage. Additionally, if the target is a creature, the creature must succeed on a DC 15 Strength saving throw or be pushed 10 ft. away.
Duergar Commander (Recharges after 6 Rounds). Axolglot calls forth 1d4 Duergar Soulblade, which rolls Initiative at the end of the start of Axolglots next turn. They are friendly to Axolglot and his allies and fight until the death.
Darkened Psionic Blast (Available after has 1/2 Hit Points Left, Takes 1 Round to Charge, Recharges after 8 Rounds). Axolglot unleashes a wave of mental power in a 20-foot cone. each creature must make a Dexterity saving throw. On a failed save, a target takes 5d8 force damage, is pushed 25 ft. away from Axolglot, and cannot make any reactions until the beginning of their next turn. On a successful save, a target takes half as much damage and can still take their reactions.
Switch. Axolglot changes the mode of his Mechaxhampicter from its current mode, switching to either the hammer (bludgeoning), pick (piercing), axe (slashing), or scepter (bonus to allies).
Superior (Recharges every 3 Rounds). Axolglot casts vicious mockery on one target within 40 ft. He will prioritize creatures that have spoken in the last round, particularly if was was said was in any way rude, vulgar, or slanderous to him or his race.
Boosters (Recharges every 3 Rounds). Axolglot triggers his boosters to fly up to 35 ft. in any direction. If he flies up, he can stay there for up to 1 Round before his boosters give out.
Axolglot is considered a Legendary Creature and can take 1 legendary actions from the options below. Only one legendary action can be used at a time and only at the end of another creature's turn. Axolglot regains spent legendary actions at the start of his turn.
Move (Costs 1 Action). Move up to his speed.
Cheap Shot. Axolglot casts mind sliver on one target within 30 ft.
