Traits

Amorphous. The gloop can move through a space as narrow as 1 inch wide without squeezing.

Spider Climb. The gloop can climb difficult surfaces, including upside down on ceilings, without needing to make an ability check.

Sticky. The gloop adheres to skin, armor, and nonmagical weapons. It can be shaken off with a STR save DC 12, or by the application of fire, acid, water, or saliva.

Sweet. One taste of gloop can be deadly. If a creature tastes it, they must make a WIS save DC 14 or be overcome with the desire to feed on it, spending the next round eating it. Every round spent ingesting the blue gloop causes 3d6 poison damage. They must make the WIS save again at the end of their turn. If they fail again, they will continue to eat. If they succeed, they stop eating but may still be physically stuck to the blue gloop.

Actions

Pseudopod. Melee Weapon Attack: +2 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 4 (1d4+1) bludgeoning damage plus 3 (1d6) poison damage.

Description

A blue gloop is a deep blue ooze that can slide under doors and through narrow cracks. It’s incredibly sticky, sweet, and poisonous. A skilled alchemist can separate its sugars from its poisons, and many alchemists in the underdark have become addicted to its unique flavor.

Habitat: Underdark
