Body Thief. The Bone Exoskeleton initiates an STR or DEX contest with an humanoid within 5 feet of it that isn’t protected by protection from evil and good. If it wins the contest, the Bone Exoskeleton magically locks onto the target’s body, and takes control of the target’s body. While lock onto a creature, the Bone exoskeleton is able to access and use all abilities skills and traits of the creature that is locked. TheBone Exoskeleton retains its scores. It knows everything the creature knew, including spells and languages.
If the host body dies, the Bone Exoskeleton is still able to move the body but is unable to access any of the features. A protection from evil and good spell cast on the body drives the Bone Exoskeleton out. The Bone Exoskeleton is also forced out if the target regains its devoured brain by means of a wish. By spending 5 feet of its movement, the iBone Exoskeleton can voluntarily leave the body, teleporting to the nearest unoccupied space within 5 feet of it. The body then dies, unless its brain is restored within 1 round.
