Traits

Fire Absorption. Whenever Acantha is subjected to fire damage, she takes no damage and instead regains twice the number of hit points equal to the fire damage dealt.

Immutable Form. Acantha is immune to any spell or effect that would alter her form, other than her shape shifting trait.

Magic Resistance. Acantha has advantage on saving throws against spells and other magical effects.

Magic Weapons. Acantha's weapon attacks are magical.

Adhesive. Acantha adheres to anything that touches it. A gargantuan or smaller creature adhered to her is also grappled and restrained by her (escape DC 22). Ability Checks made to Escape this grapple have disadvantage.

False appearance. (statue form only) While Acantha standing motionless she appears to be a normal statue.

Shapeshifter. As an action Acantha can turn into her amorphous true form, or back to her statue form. The stats stay the same for either form besides the fact that in her true form her AC becomes 20 and she becomes amorphous.

Grappler. Acantha has advantage on Attack rolls against any creature Grappled by her.

Actions

Multiattack. Acantha makes five melee attacks.

Pseudopod. Melee Weapon Attack: +10 to hit, 15ft reach, 9d10 bludgeoning damage and 4d8 acid damage.

Long sword. Melee Weapon Attack: +14 to hit, 5ft reach, 7d10 slashing damage and 5d8 damage.

Mist. Acantha releases mist in a 20-foot cone. Each creature in that area must make a DC 23 Constitution saving throw, or take 10d8 force damage and be paralyzed on an unsuccessful save, and half damage and not be paralyzed on a successful one.

Bonus Actions

Defender. As a bonus action Acantha can raise the AC of every ally within 50ft of her by 5 points for 1 round.

Reactions

Retaliate. If Acantha takes more than 30 damage in a single turn, she will attack whoever dealt damage to her last with either pseudopod or bite.

Shield. If an ally within 10ft of Acantha is attacked she can choose to take the blow instead, moving directly in front of the attacker and taking the damage instead.

Regretted opportunity. If an attack of opportunity is used on Acantha she can use a reaction to do a longsword attack on whoever used the attack of opportunity.

Description

Impossible Coincidence

Acantha was created when wizards experimented on her due to the fact that she was born with magical traits. The experiments made her become sentient, she was taught by the wizards who created her, in a way they were her family. It somehow all turned out well, she became a great person, learned to fight, and learned how to copy the traits of a magical construct, or item
