Description
Acid drakes are often mistaken for young or miniature black or copper dragons depending on their ancestry. A typical Acid drake is 4 feet long, though it can grow to a length of 6 feet. Except for Greater drakes, drakes don't have any sort of breath weapon. However, they can infuse their bite and claws with acid.
Acid drakes lair in caves and caverns deep within the hills and mountains, and sometimes comes out to hunt. Acid drakes are carnivorous creatures and territorial. Drakes unlike dragons tend to hunt in packs. These packs tend to consist of 3 to 4 members, mostly consisting of drakes of the same type, but it is not uncommon to see different types of drakes form a pack if their environments are close enough to each other.
