Pack Tactics. The vulture-lion has advantage on an attack roll against a creature if at least one of the vulture-lion’s allies is within 5 feet of the creature and the ally isn’t incapacitated.

Flying Pounce. If the vulture-lion moves at least 20 feet straight toward a creature and then hits it with a taloned claw attack on the same turn, that target must succeed on a DC 14 Strength saving throw or be knocked prone. If the target is prone, the lion can make one beak attack against it as a bonus action.

Taloned Claw. Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 7 (2d4 + 3) slashing damage.

Description

The Vulture-Lion is a fearsome monstrosity that vily produced by wild magic a merged version of a giant vulture and a lion. When first seen, it has the profile of a horrifying sphinx. Physically, it has the massive body of a lion with the odd features of a giant vulture. Mentally, it has a malevolent bent craven by a twisted wickedness. On hunts, it will torture a creature for days just to savor its end. They have been known to haunt a thirsty, starving creature to show its dominance. They particularly love to perch on the roof of desert temples. Usually, they lair inside high ceiling holy structures waiting to pounce on anything that might pass by.
