Description

Ahtal-rab are scaly humanoids with clawed hands, brown or green skin and fins that run from their foreheads to the base of their skull. An average adult is between five foot seven and five foot ten. In ahtal-rab culture, an aspiring warrior must earn the right to wear armour by making their own using the bones or scales of defeated enemies. Until then, the only protection they’re socially permitted to use is a shield, usually made from chitin or scales.

Braves are unproven warriors led by veterans deemed too old for nominal command. Braves are eager but undisciplined fighters whose sheer aggression leads to brutal effectiveness in battle or a quick and violent end. Once a brave has made their own armour, they’re entrusted to join the warriors properly.
