Keen Sight. The nothic has advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on sight.
Burning Gaze. The nothic has advantage on attacks rolls against invisible or hidden targets within 5 feet of it.
Multiattack. The nothic makes two claw attacks.
Claw. Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 9 (2d6 + 3) slashing damage.
Warping Gaze. The nothic targets one creature it can see within 30 feet of it. The target must succeed on a DC 12 Wisdom saving throw against this magic or take 13 (2d6 + 4) psychic damage. The target can repeat the save at the end of each of its turns. On a failed save, the nothic is invisible to all enemies except the target. The nothic's Claw attacks deal an additional 1d6 damage and it has advantage against the target until it successfully saves. On a success, the target takes half damage and the nothic gains +2 to its AC and Dexterity saving throws.
Forbidding Gaze. (1/Long Rest). All enemies within 10 feet must succeed on a DC 12 Constitution Saving throw or take 8 (1d8 + 4) psychic damage. They are also pushed back 10 feet. On a success, they take half damage and are pushed back 5 feet. On a failure of 5 or more they are stunned and knocked prone.
Weird Insight. The nothic targets one creature it can see within 30 feet of it. The target must contest its Charisma (Deception) check against the nothic’s Wisdom (Insight) check. If the nothic wins, it magically learns one fact or secret about the target. The target automatically wins if it is immune to being charmed.
Description
A nothic is a monstrous creature with terrible talons and a single great eye. When driven to violence, it uses its horrific gaze to rot the flesh from its enemies’ bones.
