Description
The warforged Destroyer was a prototype construct built by Bernard Thistlefoot. Proving its worth time and again on the battlefields during the unification war, Bernard was given a request to build several, but during a reconfiguration of its function, the unique device powering the prototype pulsed, and something activated, giving the Destroyer sentience. When the maintenance crew attempted to shut it off, it reacted by defending itself. It massacred the crew, tore through the walls of the workshop and disappeared.
Not knowing its own purpose, the Destroyer (who seem to prefer the name "Royce") went searching for one. He disappeared for many years, though some rumors suggest a massive sentient machine has been encountered inside the famed tower of Kalaar.
