Psychic Cloud. The Mind Hybrid is surrounded by psychic energy. A creature that Moves within 10 feet of it must make a DC 10 Constitution saving throw. On a failure, the creature is paralysed until the start of it's next turn.

Probing Telepathy. If a creature communicates telepathically with the Mind Hybrid, the Mind Hybrid learns the creature's greatest desires.

Actions

Corrupting Tendril. Psychic Weapon Attack: +9 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 12 (2d6 + 5) psychic damage. The Target must succeed on a DC10 Intelligence saving throw or become charmed until the end of the Mind Hybrids next turn.

Psychic Wail (1/Day). The Mind Hybrid releases a psychic wave. This wave has no effect on constructs and undead. All other creatures within 30 feet of it must make a DC 13 Intelligence saving throw. On a failure, the creature is paralyzed until the end of the Mind Hybrids next turn.

Gateway to Nightmares (3/Day). The Mind Hybrid temporarily becomes a doorway to a realm beyond mortal understanding, Tendrils of madness lash out at any creature to close. All other creatures within 15 feet of it must make a DC 14 Intelligence saving throw. On a failure, the creature takes 10 (3d6) psychic damage and half that on a success.

 

Description

The Mind Hybrid is a human who has made a pact with an elder god for power, they are on their way to becoming Mind Flayers but have yet to achieve that power.

The Mind Hybrid appears as a human whose skin is a pallid sickly colour and whose head is swollen and misshapen by something beneath the skull.
