Description
This Aberration takes the form of a beautiful woman when calm. This Aberration is always female and primarily infertile. (If the DM chooses to explore the character dynamic of conceiving with a monster go ahead) After her lair is breached she sheds her visage and shows her true form, a combination of a Nothic and a Spectator, she has one large primary eye that nullifies magic, from weapons and spells. She has four lesser eye stalks that come off the back of her head like dreadlocks. Each Beldame has Machine Parts such as robotic hands tipped with sewing needle claws, and sewing machine-like legs tipped with long needles. The needle appendages are near unbreakable and are magically impervious to dulling as she stands or stresses them. Despite having so much weight on these fine points the Beldame only penetrates chosen surfaces, and doesn’t sink into the ground as she walks regardless of the softness of surface she is on.
She is a motherly creature, desiring to bear, nurse and raise children of her own. While she possesses the capacity to interface with any creature, she is by nature infertile, leading to extreme frustration and a lust-filled rage for anything that enters her abode.
She can petrify creatures for storage but while fighting she prefers to stitch her opponents onto the floor or walls in order to study them. While she lives reclusively, she seeks a perfect mate and usually takes live captives. She may take favor on and keep an unrestrained male Bard of romantic tendency.
Lair and Lair Actions
The Beldame lives in a place with many large pillars or stalagmites to show off her previous conquests. Each pillar-like structure should showcase as many as 15 different humanoid corpses some fresher and bloodier than the rest. The majority of her lair is a web of cotton thread made by her skin, that is nearly invisible to the eye. She is likely to use it to restrain her targets.
Lair Actions
On her turn as a reaction, the Beldame takes a lair action to cause one of the following effects; the Beldame can’t use the same effect two rounds in a row:
- Cave in - Strings shoot forth from her hands and slash at the ceiling and rocks as stalagmites fall in a 30-foot square. With a DC18 Dexterity Saving Throw creatures below this area of effect take 4D12 bludgeoning or piercing damage Dm's choice. On a success the target takes no damage.
- Heavy Tension - As a reaction the Beldame targets any combatant who is restrained by her Sickly Stitching and pulls her threads taught pulling the restrained target onto the nearest trophy display pillar.
