Traits

Partnership. Blight rides a construct known as Toxic Wing, or Vringr. The construct protects him from all damage, but when Vringr dies, Blight also dies.

Legendary Resistance (3/day). When Blight and Vringr failed a saving throw, they can choose to succeed instead.

Actions

Bombs Away! Blight tosses three explosives filled with one of the following components at random (reroll duplicates), choosing locations he can see within 120 ft.

  1. Blight Toxin. Each creature within 20 ft. of the explosion must make a DC 17 Dexterity saving throw, taking 27 (6d8) necrotic damage on a failed save, or half as much on a success. If a creature is reduced to 0 hit points by this damage, it gains one point of exhaustion.
  2. Fear Poison. Each creature within 20 ft. of the explosion must make a DC 17 Wisdom saving throw, or become frightened of Blight for 1 minute. Affected creatures can repeat the saving throw at the end of their turn, ending the effect on a success.
  3. Paralytic Poison. Each creature within a 5 ft. of the explosion must make a DC 17 Constitution saving throw or become paralyzed for 1 minute. Affected creatures can repeat the saving throw at the end of their turn, ending the effect on a success.
  4. Sleep Powder. Each creature within 10 ft. of the explosion must succeed on a DC 17 Wisdom saving throw or fall asleep and remain unconscious for 1 minute. The target awakens if it takes damage or another creature takes an action to wake it. This powder has no effect on constructs and undead.
  5. Antimagic Acrimony. Each creature within 20 ft. of the explosion must make a DC 17 Dexterity saving throw, taking 22 (4d10) force damage on a failure, or half as much on a success. When creatures make a Constitution saving throw to maintain concentration on a spell against this damage, the DC is doubled. The area also becomes a lingering zone of antimagic, as described in the antimagic field spell for 1 minute.
  6. Stoneblood Succulent. Each creature within 10 ft. of the explosion must make a DC 17 Constitution saving throw. On a failed save, the creature begins to turn to stone and is restrained. It must repeat the saving throw at the end of its next turn. On a success, the effect ends. On a failure, the creature is petrified until freed by the greater restoration spell or other magic.
  7. Acidic Disintegrator. Each creature within 10 ft. of the explosion must succeed on a DC 17 Dexterity saving throw or take 28 (8d6) acid damage. If this damage reduces the creature to 0 hit points, its body becomes a pile of fine gray dust. Any objects of size large or smaller that are not worn or carried are disintegrated without a saving throw.
  8. Brimstone Flamebelch. Each creature within 20 ft. of the explosion must succeed on a DC 17 Dexterity saving throw or take 36 (8d8) fire damage. A creature dies if the damage reduces it to 0 hit points.
  9. Hypnotic Perfume. Each creature within 20 ft. of the explosion must succeed on a DC 17 Wisdom saving throw or be charmed by Blight for 1 minute. Affected creatures can repeat the saving throw at the end of their turn, ending the effect on a success.
  10. Lethargic Oil. Each creature within 10 ft. of the explosion must succeed on a DC 17 Dexterity saving throw. On a failed save, a creature’s speed is halved for 1 minute. In addition, the creature can’t take reactions, and it can take either an action or a bonus action on its turn, not both. The creature can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on itself on a success.
Legendary Actions

Blight can take 3 legendary actions, using the Bombs Away! option below. It can take only one legendary action at a time and only at the end of another creature’s turn. Blight regains spent legendary actions at the start of its turn.

Bombs Away! Blight throws one random bomb.
