Legendary Resistance (1/Day). If this creature fails a saving throw, it can choose to succeed instead.
Magic Resistance. The Chimeric Mutate has advantage on saving throws against spells and other magical effects.
Reflective Skin. Any time this creature is targeted by a magic missile spell, a line spell, or a spell that requires a ranged attack roll, roll a d6. On a 1 to 5, this creature is unaffected. On a 6, the Mutate is unaffected, and the effect is reflected back at the caster as though it originated from the target, in effect turning the caster into the target.
Keen Insight. The creature chooses to attack the healers first, and then attacks based on hit die from lowest to highest. If the opponent uses more than one type of hit die, it averages them out.
Regeneration. The Chimeric Mutate regains 10 hit points at the start of its turn. If it takes acid or fire damage, this trait doesn't function at the start of their next turn. This creature dies only if it starts its turn with 0 hit points and doesn't regenerate.
Avoidance. If this creature subjected to an effect that allows it to make a saving throw to take only half damage, it instead takes no damage if it succeeds on the saving throw, and only half damage if it fails.
Displacement. This creature is out of sync with it's image in a manner that makes it appear to be standing near its actual location, causing attack rolls against it to have disadvantage. If it is hit by an attack, this trait is disrupted until the end of its next turn. This trait is also disrupted while the Chimeric Mutate is incapacitated or has a speed of 0.
Teleport (Recharge 4–6). The Mutate magically teleports, along with any equipment it is wearing or carrying, up to 40 feet to an unoccupied space it can see.
Life Eater. A creature reduced to 0 hit points from damage dealt by the Chimeric Mutate dies and can't be revived by any means short of a wish spell.
Multiattack. This Creature uses its Keen Insight. It then makes five attacks: one with its kick, two with its fists, one with its headbutt, and one with its Knee.
Headbutt. Melee Weapon Attack: +9 to hit, reach 10ft., one target. Hit: 12 (4d10 + 10) Bludgeoning damage.
Punch. Melee Weapon Attack: +9 to hit, reach 15ft., one target. Hit: 15 (1D10 + 10)
Knee. Melee Weapon Attack: +9 to hit, reach 15ft., one target. Hit: 10 (1D10 + 5)
Kick. Melee Weapon Attack: +9 to hit, reach 15ft., one target. Hit: 20 (2D10 + 10) bludgeoning damage.
This creature can take 2 legendary actions, choosing from the options below. Only one legendary action option can be used at a time and only at the end of another creature’s turn. It regains spent legendary actions at the start of its turn.
Attack. The Chimeric Mutate makes one punch attack or kick attack.
Move. The Chimeric Mutate moves up to half its speed.
Description
A Chimeric Mutate is an abomination created by the infamous wizard and crime lord Zyl Silverhand in his attempts to create the perfect body. Useful products were few, and none were more few in number than the legendary True Chimeric Mutates. Feared by many for it's incorporation of the best traits of a myriad of creatures. These include Trolls, Nightwalkers, Displacer Beasts, and even the Tarrasque itself. Despite this, the project was long abandoned in favor of Aether Mutate research, as it was almost universally a failure that resulted in serious health problems. However, among the few successes were legendary warriors and fabled heroes, with this reanimated fighter being the best of them. Formerly known as Bellicor the Pugilist, he was said to be at the apex of all fighers and monks. No matter how many imbuements or trait implants from any creature, he only grew stronger. After a while, he had so many enhancements he became known as the "Kitchen Sink" by researchers. Eventually, he became so strong that he managed to leave through his sheer strength, wandering in search of a worthy opponent to duel.
