Traits

Unusual Nature. The dragon does not require air, food, drink, or sleep.

Master's Bond. The dragon is able to telepathically let its master see through its senses as long as they are on the same plane of existence.

Cursemark. Any creature reduced to 0 hitpoints by the dragon is cursed. Until the dragon dies or the curse is removed, the dragon or its creator can use their action to sense the distance and direction of the target as long as they are on the same plane of existence. If the dragon's master has a lair, the cursed target must succeed on a DC 14 Wisdom saving throw each time it tries to complete a long rest within 6 miles of the lair or be unable to recover any hit points or spent hit dice from the rest.

False Appearance. While motionless, the dragon is indistinguishable from an inanimate pile of dragon bones.

Actions

Multiattack. The dragon makes three attacks: one with its bite and two with its claws.

Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +10 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 17 (2d10 + 6) piercing damage plus 9 (2d8) necrotic damage.

Claw. Melee Weapon Attack: +10 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 13 (2d6 + 6) slashing damage.

Tail. Melee Weapon Attack: +10 to hit, reach 15 ft., one target. Hit: 15 (2d8 + 6) bludgeoning damage. if the target is a creature, it must succeed on a DC 18 Strength saving throw or be knocked prone.

Decaying Breath (Recharge 5-6). The dragon exhales diabolical breath in a 60-foot cone. Each creature in that area must make a DC 17 Constitution saving throw, taking 55 (10d10) necrotic damage on a failed save or half as much damage on a successful one. Creatures reduced to 0 hit points by this breath weapon also gain a level of exhaustion.

Bonus Actions

Capture. The dragon targets one unconscious medium sized or smaller creature within 60 feet. The target is teleported inside of an indesctructable bubble of force energy within the dragon's ribcage. The target remains trapped until the dragon dies. The dragon can capture one creature at a time.

Legendary Actions

Tail Attack. The dragon makes a tail attack.

Wing Attack (Costs 2 Actions). The dragon beats its wings. Each creature within 10 feet of the dragon must succeed on a DC 18 Dexterity saving throw or take 13 (2d6 + 6) bludgeoning damage and be knocked prone. The dragon can then fly up to half its flying speed.

Blight Flare (Costs 3 Actions). The dragon emits an aura of blight. Each creature in a 30-foot-radius sphere centered on the dragon must succeed on a DC 17 Constitution saving throw or take 14 (3d8) necrotic damage. Nonmagical plants that aren't creatures in this radius wither and die.

Description

A dragon whose corpse has been reanimated to serve its master, which are most often other dragons. These undead patrol their master's territory and stalk tresspassers, either attacking them or collecting valuable information to report back to its creator.

Dragon skeletons are the intact bones of its former dragon self, of which, its mind and ambitions are long gone. Black vapor pools from its skull and ribs and congeals into a membrane at its wings, enabling flight.
