Seasonal Presence. Any non-fey creature that starts its turn within 60 feet of Akita must make a DC 17 Wisdom saving throw. Depending on the time of season the effect changes on failed save. On a successful save, the creature becomes immune to any of Akita's seasonal presence effects for 24 hours.
Whenever Akita deals damage to the effected creature, the creature can repeat the saving throw. ending the effect on itself on a success. The seasonal effects are as follows:
- Spring - Charmed for 1 minute
- Summer - Frightened of Akita for 1 min
- Autumn - Charmed for 1 minute
- Winter - Charmed for 1 minute. While charmed, the creature has disadvantage on ability checks and saving throws.
Magic resistance. Akita has advantage on saving throws against spells and other magical effects.
Multiattack. Akita makes three Staff or Seasonal Beam attacks. He can replace one attack with a use of Spellcasting.
Staff. Melee Weapon Attack: +6 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 5 (1d6 + 2) bludgeoning damage plus 21 (6d6) poison damage.
Seaonal Beam. Ranged Spell Attack: +9 to hit, range 120 ft., one target. Hit: 26 (6d6 + 5) fire, cold, acid, necrotic damage depending on the season.
Spellcasting. The archdruid casts one of the following spells, using Wisdom as the spellcasting ability (spell save DC 17):
At will: beast sense, shillelagh, speak with animals, plane shift
3/day each: hold person, Earthquake, moonbeam
1/day each: feeblemind, mass cure wounds
Depending on the season, Akita also gets 1/day use of a spell specific to the nature of the season, as follows:
- Spring - Heal
- Summer - Fire storm
- Autumn - Heroes' feast
- Winter - Ice storm
(Gains all four uses when in the fey wild)
Change Shape (2/Day). Akita magically transforms into a Large fey dire wolf who's appearance changes slightly depending on the season, except when in the fey wild, where he takes on all aspects of the seasons. Akita's equipment melds with his wolf form. Akita reverts to his true form if it dies or falls unconscious. Akita can revert to his true form using a bonus action.
While in his new form, Akita's stat block is replaced by his fey wolf stat block, except Akita keeps his current hit points, his hit point maximum, this bonus action, his languages and ability to speak with telepathy, and his Spellcasting action.
The wolf's attacks count as magical for the purpose of overcoming resistances and immunity to nonmagical attacks.
Fey step (4-6) Akita teleports, along with any equipment he is wearing or carrying, up to 60 feet to an occupied space he can see.
Description
Born from the natural energies of the seasons, Akita a druid of the Fey wild has become its protector, its gate guardian. Taking the form of a dire wolf he patrols the material plane keeping in tandem with the forever changing gate to the Fey Wild. Through the centuries he has stopped unwanted visitors in to the Fey Wild protecting its secrets with utmost devotion.
The boundaries into the planes have become weaker due to Galbatorix's excursion out of the Void and with this Akita has had to fend off many creatures trying to trespass into his realm, becoming more and more distrusting in the creatures of the material plane.
