Initiative Proficiency. When Waverider rolls Initiative, she can add 2 to the roll.
Initiative Swap. Immediately after Waverider rolls Initiative, she can swap her Initiative with the Initiative of one willing ally in the same combat. She can't make this swap if she or the ally is Incapacitated.
Multiattack. Waverider makes three melee attacks: two with her scimitar and one with her daggers. Or she makes two ranged attacks with her daggers.
Scimitar. Melee Weapon Attack: +6 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 7 (1d6 + 4) slashing damage.
Dagger. Melee or Ranged Weapon Attack: +6 to hit, reach 5 ft. or range 20/60 ft., one target. Hit: 6 (1d4 + 4) piercing damage.
Dexterous Feet. Waverider can use her feet to manipulate an object, open or close a door or container, or pick up or set down a Tiny object.
Glide. When Waverider falls at least 10 feet above the ground, she can use her reaction to extend her skin membranes to glide horizontally 30 ft. in any direction, and she takes 0 damage from the fall.
Hadozee Dodge (2/Day). When Waverider takes damage, she can use her reaction to reduce the damage she takes by (1d6 + 2).
Parry. Waverider adds 2 to her AC against one melee attack that would hit her. To do so, she must see the attacker and be wielding a melee weapon.
Description
It takes a strong personality, ruthless cunning, and a silver tongue to keep a gang of bandits in line. Waverider has these qualities in spades. In addition to managing a crew of selfish malcontents, Waverider is a pirate captain with a ship to protect and command. To keep the crew in line, she must mete out rewards and punishment on a regular basis. More than treasure, Waverider craves infamy. A prisoner who appeals to her vanity or ego is more likely to be treated fairly than a prisoner who does not, or claims not to know anything of Waverider’s colorful reputation.
Waverider has sailed on a oceangoing vessel for years. In that time, she faced down mighty storms, monsters of the deep, and those who wanted to sink her craft to the bottomless depths. Her first love is the distant horizon.
Waverider spent her youth under the sway of a dread pirate, a ruthless cutthroat who taught her how to survive in a world of sharks and lawlessness. She’s indulged in larceny on the high seas, and sent more than one deserving soul to an watery grave. Fear and bloodshed are no strangers to Waverider, and she’s garnered a somewhat unsavory reputation in many a port town. No matter where Waverider goes, people are afraid of her due to her reputation.
