Traits

Aeons Torn. If Bi'tiimral would be reduced to 0 hit points, her current hit point total instead resets to 500 hit points, she regains all expended spells, and she regains any expended uses of Legendary Resistance. Bi'tiimral takes a new form - refer to the stat block for Bi'tiimral, the Living Contradiction for her new actions.

Bane of All Things. When Bi'tiimral deals necrotic damage, she reduces necrotic immunity to resistance. If the target has resistance, she negates it entirely.

Legendary Resistance (4/day). If Bi'tiimral fails a saving throw, she can choose to succeed instead.

Magic Resistance. Bi'tiimral has advantage on saving throws against spells and other magical effects

Spellcasting. Bi'tiimral is a 20th-level spellcaster. Her spellcasting ability is Intelligence (spell save DC 26, +18 to hit with spell attacks). Bi'tiimral can cast the below spells, requiring no material components:

At will: Blight, Abi-Dalzim's Horrid Wilting, Eyebite, Contagion

3/day each: Finger of Death, Disintegrate, Reality Break

1/day each: Ravenous Void, Power Word Kill, Time Ravage

Actions

Multiattack. Bi'tiimral makes three attacks with the Blade of Disaster. She can move the blade up to 30 feet before doing so. After making her attacks, if the blade moved away from her, it returns to her hand. Alternatively, she makes three attacks with Withering Word.

Blade of Disaster. Melee Weapon Attack: +18 to hit, reach 30 ft., one target. Hit: 38 (4d12 + 10) necrotic damage, or 94 (12d12 + 10) necrotic damage on a critical hit, which this weapon scores on a roll of 18-20.

Withering Word. Ranged Weapon Attack: +18 to hit, range 150 ft., 1 target. Hit: 46 (6d10 + 10) necrotic damage, and the target can't regain HP until Bi'tiimral's next turn.

Bonus Actions

Blink Through Reality. Bi'tiimral can move up to 60 feet without provoking opportunity attacks.

Legendary Actions

Bi'tiimral can take 3 legendary actions, choosing from the options below. Only one legendary action option can be used at a time and only at the end of another creature’s turn. Bi'tiimral regains spent legendary actions at the start of her turn.

Attack. Bi'tiimral makes one attack with her Blade of Disaster or her Withering Word.

Cast a Spell (Costs 2 Actions). Bi'tiimral casts one of her available spells.

Glimpse of an Inevitable End (Costs 3 Actions). Bi'tiimral channels energy from the void between planes and hurls it around her. Every creature of Bi'tiimral's choice within 150 feet of her must make a Wisdom saving throw (DC 26) or take 56 (8d12) psychic damage and become frightened until the end of her next turn. On a success, a creature takes half as much damage and is not frightened. Aside from a successful saving throw, this damage cannot be prevented or mitigated in any way.

Description

"You are either very brave or very foolish to come here. I know not which. But regardless, I will tell you once and once only: Turn back now. There is nothing for you here. Naught to seek but sorrow, naught to be pillaged but pain."

In the north of Avnos, there stands the old castle of Menae. Its walls have rang empty for thousands of years, ever since the Profaned King, Acheron, consigned all the world to the flames of eternity. There, the monument to his sin lies still; a stark reminder of what was, and what will inevitably be.

Yet it is here, amidst barren stone and snow, that an ancient and cursed being calls home. She is a walking contradiction: life that brings unlife, whose very presence causes all things to wither away. She is a force as voracious as time itself. A void as cryptic as reality itself. An enigma as vexing as life itself.

Menae is a place of decay and death, and at its center lies Bi'tiimral.
