Traits

Magic Resistance (B): Class skill of Saber. Artoria is immune to the effects of harmful cantrips and spells of the fifth level or lower.

Charisma (E): One of Artoria’s personal skills. A natural talent to lead. Saber can her proficiency modifier to any charisma checks that she is not already adding her proficiency modifier to.

Instinct (B): One of Artoria’s Personal Skills. An ability to determine the best course of action in combat. Grants the following abilities.

  • Artoria can add her wisdom modifier to dexterity saving throws.
  • Artoria can add her wisdom modifier to her armor class. 
  • Artoria adds ⅘ of her proficiency modifier to her passive perception and insight. 
  • If Artoria is suffering disadvantage on attack rolls from being blinded or deafeded, roll a D12, on a roll of 7 or higher, she ignores the disadvantage.

Fighting Style: Great Weapon FightingWhen Artoria roll a 1 or 2 on a damage die for an Attack she made with a melee weapon that she is wielding with two hands, she can reroll the die and must use the new roll, even if the new roll is a 1 or a 2. The weapon must have the Two-Handed or Versatile property for her to gain this benefit.

Second Wind: Artoria has a limited well of stamina that she can draw on to protect herself from harm. On her turn, she can use a Bonus Action to regain Hit Points equal to 1d10 + her CR level. Once she uses this feature, she must finish a short or Long Rest before she can use it again.

Action Surge: Artoria can push herself beyond her normal limits for a moment. On her turn, she can take one additional action on top of your regular action and a possible Bonus Action. Once she uses this feature twice, she must finish a short or Long Rest before she can use it again. It can be only used once on the same turn.

Extra Attack: Artoria can Attack four times whenever she takes the Attack action on her turn.

Indomitable: Artoria can reroll a saving throw that she fails. If she does so, she must use the new roll, and after using this feature three times she can't use this feature again until she finishes a Long Rest.

Remarkable Athlete: Artoria can add half her Proficiency Bonus (round up) to any Strength, Dexterity, or Constitution check she makes that doesn’t already use her Proficiency Bonus In addition, when she makes a running long jump, the distance she can cover increases by a number of feet equal to her Strength modifier.

Superior Critical: Artoria’s weapon attacks score a critical hit on a roll of 17–20.

Actions

Vortigen: A technique that draws out the power in Excalibur Morgan. Artoria makes three melee weapon attacks. If these attacks hit, they deal an additional 2D8 necrotic damage. Additionally, if a least one of these attacks hit, the target must make a constitution saving throw equal to 10 + Artoria’s strength modifier + Artoria’s proficiency bonus or be launched 10 ft into the air. This attack can only be used when wielding Excalibur Morgan. After this ability has been used, it cannot be used again until Artoria completes a long rest.

Mana Burst (A): One of Artoria’s personal skills. She has the ability to channel magical energy through her unique magic circuits in a short burst to boost her performance. Artoria has 20 Mana Burst points she can spend at will. These points were fully restored after a long rest. The mana burst options are listed below.

  • As a bonus action, rocket forward up to her movement (1 point).
  • As a bonus action, she can rocket up into the air a distance equal to twice her normal jump high. (1 point)
  • As a reaction, Artoria can temporarily raise her armor class for one turn. This must be done after the attack is declared but before the attack role. (2 points per point of armor class). 
  • Saber can add two additional damage die to one of her attacks. (2 point)
  • She can reroll a die during any form of strength, dexterity, constitution, or damage roll or saving throw. She must keep the new result of this role. (1 point per dice).
  • As a bonus action, she may increase her strength, constitution, or dexterity for one turn. (1 point per stat points). 
  • As a bonus action, she can launch a dart of mana from the tip of her sword as a ranged weapon attack that deals 2d8+6 force damage. (1 point).

Slash. Artoria slashes forward using Excalibur Morgan, with a +9 hit score, dealing 3d8+9 slashing magical damage to overcome resistances. 

Strike Air. Artoria releases Excalibur Morgan's true form for a second, swinging her sword through the air and shooting out a shockwave of black energy. Enemies within a 70ft cone must succeed on a 20 dexterity saving throw or take 6d6+10 bludgeoning damage or half on a successful save.

Excalibur Morgan. Once per Long Rest, Artoria releases her sword's true form and shoots out a massive beam of dark energy that covers 20ft wide and 100ft long.  All creatures caught in a blast but make a DC 24 dexterity save. On failed saving throw, they must take 30d12+50 necrotic damage or half that on a successful save.  To use this ability, Artoria must hold the sword in both hands, meaning she must have both hands.

Reactions

Avalon (only if Avalon is found)(Recharges on a 6). If Avalon has been acquired Artoria can use her reaction to completely negate all attacks until the start of her next turn.

Legendary Actions

Artoria has 3 Legendary Actions. She can use one or two at the end of a creature's turn. She can perform her Slash or Strike air. She regains her legendary actions at the start of her turn.

Slash (one legendary action). Artoria strikes with Excalibur Morgan once.

Strike air (two legendary actions). Artoria uses Strike Air.

Artoria also has 3 legendary resistances, however it cannot be used against a ability that directly affects dragon creatures such as herself.
