Traits

Hunger. Whenever Adult Green Dragon deals or receives damage, it gains 1 hunger charge (max 12). At 4 hunger charges, all of the dragon's attacks made with its head deal acid damage, and all of its tail attacks deal lightning damage. At 8 hunger charges the dragon gains the ability to burrow and unlocks its breath weapon. At 12 hunger charges, the dragon's next attack does double damage, has 50% life-steal (if it's a melee attack), and resets its hunger charges.

Resilient. Adult Green Dragons are immune to poison gas and can breathe in both water and air.

Constrict. Targets grappled by an Adult Green Dragon take 1d4 bludgeoning damage on the dragon's turn.

Actions

Coiled Strike. Melee Weapon Attack: +3 to hit, range 45 ft., one target. 16 (2d12 + 3) bludgeoning damage (with head). This action costs 2 action to be performed, with the dragon being unable to do anything on the turn this action is chosen on. The target is grappled if medium or smaller with a success on a DC 13 DEX saving throw or the dragon takes 20 damage. (Recharge DC 3)

Tail Sweep. Melee Weapon Attack: +2 to hit, range 30 ft. wide 180 degree arc, multiple targets. 9 (1d12 + 3) bludgeoning damage (with tail). The last target hit is also stung, dealing an additional 4 (1d8) piercing, poison damage and inflicts poison until that creature's next turn. (Recharge DC 3)

Description

You would be forgiven if you mistook a green dragon for a wyrm, but don't be fooled. These huge, snake-like beasts are just as powerful and cunning as any true dragon. Starting from the head, these green devils have no mouth in front of their beady yellow eyes. Instead, their gaping maw is located underneath their long, moss and algae covered body and is protected by what appear to be giant insect legs. These legs are actually the enormous fore claws of the dragon with its legs deep inside its body and basically nonexistent. These claws can both grab/trap prey and help the dragon cling to walls and muddy river beds. The mouth is like something out of a horror story, huge neon green teeth seem to glow and drip a bright yellow-green fluid. In the center of these teeth is a large hole which serves as the mouth in which food goes in, and boiling hot acid comes out. Running along the side of the dragons body are its greenish yellow wings which appear more like fins. These wings allow it to cling to surfaces and glide short distances. Near the creature's tail are the remnants of its rear limbs that now only serve as a climbing aid. Finally, the beast's long tail is tipped with a razor sharp, two pronged claw. This claw doubles as a stinger, hand, and lightning conductor with which it can sting and shock prey simultaneously.
