Void Hunger. The warrior has a 10-foot radius aura of draining corruption around them. For each instance the warrior deals or takes damage from a creature, this aura deals 2 (1d4) necrotic, up to a maximum of 25 (10d4), damage to any creature that either moves into the aura for the first time or starts its turn there. The warrior regains a number of hit points equal to half the damage dealt. The aura fades if the warrior does not deal or take damage by the end of their turn. The warrior can suppress the aura as an action, and must use subsequent actions to do so.

Actions

Multiattack. The champion makes three Longsword attacks and uses Shield Toss.

Longsword. Melee Weapon Attack: +9 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 9 (1d8 + 5) slashing damage.

Shield Toss. Ranged Weapon Attack: +9 to hit, range 20/60 ft., one target. Hit: 9 (1d8 + 5) Bludgeoning damage. On a hit, the shield returns to the warrior and the target must succeed on a DC Constitution saving throw or be stunned for 1 minute. A stunned creature can repeat the saving throw at the end of its turn, ending the effect on a success.

Defile Grounds (Recharge 6). The warrior corrupts the ground in a 20-foot radius around them for 1 minute or until they use this feature again. Creatures other that the warrior, that move into the aura for the first time or starts their turn there must succeed on a DC Constitution saving throw. On a failed saving throw, a creature takes 13 (3d8) necrotic damage and their movement speed and the damage from weapon attacks is halved for 1 minute. On a successful save, a creature takes half damage and their speed and attacks are unaffected. An affected creature can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of their turns, ending the effect on a success.

Aberrant Form (1/Long Rest). The warrior becomes wreathed in void energy for 1 minute. This feature can only be used if the warrior starts its turn below half its hit point maximum. While in this form, the warrior has resistance to all damage except for radiant and force damage and they regain 5 (1d10) hit points at the start of each of its turns. Additionally, while in this form, the radius of Void Hunger increases to 20 feet.
