False Appearance. While the creature has its eyes closed and remains motionless, it is indistinguishable from a normal plant.
Sunflower. Whilst in direct sunlight, the bonsai can regain 1d4 hitpoints over a time of one hour.
Psionic Link. Due to the psionic gem implanted within the creature, they can communicate via emotions and images with their gardener.
Branches. Ranged Weapon Attack: +1 to hit, reach 15 ft., one target. Hit: 1 (1d6−1) slashing damage.
Description
An awakened bonsai is a bonsai tree grown and shaped into the form of an animal and implanted with a psionic gem. Created by the samurai of the Southern Archipelago, the bonsai combine elements of the three draconic families: pots of awakening stolen from chromatic dragons, tools donated by metallic dragons and a crystal bargained from a gem dragon. Once grown, these bonsai are nigh on immortal, and are loyal to their creator and their companions.
