Traits

Assassinate. During his first turn, Arzin Ensatra has advantage on attack rolls against any creature that hasn't taken a turn. Any hit Arzin Ensatra scores against a surprised creature is a critical hit.

Evasion. If Arzin Ensatra is subjected to an effect that allows him to make a Dexterity saving throw to take only half damage, Arzin Ensatra instead takes no damage if he succeeds on the saving throw, and only half damage if he fails.

Sneak Attack. Once per turn, Arzin Ensatra deals an extra 14 (4d6) damage when he hits a target with a weapon attack and has advantage on the attack roll, or when the target is within 5 feet of an ally of Arzin Ensatra that isn't incapacitated and Arzin Ensatra doesn't have disadvantage on the attack roll.

Actions

Multiattack. Arzin Ensatra makes two shortsword attacks.

Shortsword. Melee Weapon Attack: +6 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 6 (1d6 + 3) piercing damage, and the target must make a DC 15 Constitution saving throw, taking 24 (7d6) poison damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.

Light Crossbow. Ranged Weapon Attack: +6 to hit, range 80/320 ft., one target. Hit: 7 (1d8 + 3) piercing damage, and the target must make a DC 15 Constitution saving throw, taking 24 (7d6) poison damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.

The Golden Touch. Melee Weapon Attack [rollable]+6. reach 5 ft, 1 target.

Arzin Ensatra reaches out with the tip of his cane, on a hit the target must make a DC 17 Constitution saving throw If the saving throw fails by 5 or more, the creature is instantly petrified. Otherwise, a creature that fails the save begins to turn to gold and is restrained. The restrained creature must repeat the saving throw at the end of its next turn, becoming petrified on a failure or ending the effect on a success. The petrification lasts until the creature is freed by the greater restoration spell or other magic.

Reactions

Uncanny dodge. When an attacker that Arzin Ensatra can see hits him with an attack, he can use his reaction to halve the attack's damage against him.
