Amorphous. The cat can move through a space as narrow as 1 inch wide without squeezing.

Keen Smell. The cat has advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on smell.

Nine Lives. If the cat would die, it instead revives at 1 hitpoint. This skill has 8 uses, and if it dies after exhausting this trait, it becomes unaffected by any form of revival, other than by a Wish spell.

Multiattack. The cat makes two claw attacks.

Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +6 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 7 (1d8 + 3) piercing damage plus 5 (2d4) necrotic damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.

Claw. Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 9 (2d6 + 3) slashing damage, and the target must make a DC 14 Constitution saving throw, taking 2 (1d4) necrotic damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.

Description

It has ascended . . . about 3 feet into the air. These inhabitants of the shadowfell are known for their nearly unkillable nature. They appear as black housecats at first glance but a few details can be noticed to set them apart: glowing red eyes, the ability to float, and a primal instinct to kill everything that moves. They are actually quite friendly when tamed.
