Traits

Immutable Form. Aegis is immune to any spell or affect that would alter its form (except it’s own special traits.)

Magic Resistance. Aegis has advantage on saving throws against spells and other magical effects.

Magic Weapons. Aegis’s weapon attacks are magical.

Enlarge / Reduce. Aegis is able to change its size at will without using an action, however this does not change Aegis’s weight.

Wind Powered. Due to the trapped wind elemental inside the cube, Aegis is able to fly / float at will.

Actions

Ground Slam. Aegis flys above an enemy than drops: +2 to hit, reach 240 ft., Area of effect dealing damage to all with a 30ft by 30ft area unless Aegis’s size is altered. Hit: 26 (8d6 + 4) [bludgeoning] damage, and 5 (2d4 + 2) [thunder] damage.

Bonus Actions

Hermes Boots. Due to Aegis’s incredible speed it may make two actions at the end of its turn that do not cause damage to an entity.

Reactions

Dimwit. Due to being an unthinking golem Aegis does not have any reactionary abilities.

Legendary Actions

Aegis can take 9 legendary actions, choosing from the following actions below. Only one action can be used at a time and only if an enemy targets it’s creator, however this legendary actions occurs before the action is complete. Aegis regains spent legendary actions after a long rest.

Themistocles Wall (Costs 1 Actions). Aegis forms a wall to protect it’s creator from an enemy’s action, the enemy is forced to change its target to Aegis instead of its creator and the action must be completed.

Body of Zeus (Costs 2 Actions). Aegis’s body hardens becoming so dense that not even the strongest man or sharpest sword could even leave a scratch. Aegis gains +5 AC until the start of it’s next turn.

Forge of Hephaestus (Costs 3 Actions). Aegis’s body heats up hot enough so that even the deepest cuts form together leaving Aegis in pristine condition. Aegis heals itself for 8d8 worth of hit points.

Description

Aegis is a 30ft by 30ft silvery cube golem that is made out of solid adamantine. Because Aegis is made out of solid adamantine it weighs 12,000 pounds or 6 tons. Aegis is inhabited by a wind elemental granting it the ability to float. Aegis is unusual to other golems due to the fact it is unable to think by itself and requires additional help from its creator.
