Special Equipment. Agnes wears a Amulet of Proof against Detection and Location, a Ring of Protection, has a Bag of Holding, and wields a Staff of Charming. She also carries two scrolls, a scroll of Gaseous Form and a scroll of Stoneskin.
Cronespeech. Beasts with an intelligence of 3 or lower that has a CR of 3 or less obey Agnes unquestionably, feel safe in her presence and are unwilling to attack her unless compelled by magical means.
Greater Mind. Agnes has advantage on saving throws against being charmed or frightened.
Whisperer of the Damned. Agnes has advantage on Charisma and Wisdom (Insight) checks towards undead creatures. In addition, when Agnes casts Speak with Dead, the spirit is forced to tell truthful answers.
Multiattack. Agnes makes two Life Siphoning Bolt attacks. She can replace an attack with a use of Spellcasting.
Life Siphoning Bolt. Melee or Ranged Spell Attack: +10 to hit, reach 5 ft. or range 120 ft., one target. Hit: 20 (4d6 + 6) necrotic damage. If the target is a creature other than a construct or undead, Agnes regains hit points equal to the necrotic damage dealt.
Nightmarish Slumber (Recharge 5-6). Agnes channels unholy magic, weaving necromancy and enchantment in a 60-foot cone. Each creature in that area must make a DC 18 Wisdom saving throw, taking 28 (8d6) psychic damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. In addition, on a failed save, a creature falls unconscious for 1 minute. A creature that is is immune to being charmed is immune to being put to sleep. A creature is asleep until it takes 10 or more damage in a turn, someone uses an action to shake or slap the sleeper awake, or until the full duration has passed.
Spellcasting. Agnes casts one of the following spells, requiring no material components and using Intelligence as the spellcasting ability (spell save DC 18, +10 to hit with spell attacks):
At will: Detect Magic, Detect Thoughts, Find Familiar (as an action), Mage Hand, Mending (as an action), Minor Illusion, Speak with Animals, Thaumaturgy
2/day each: Bestow Curse (as a 5th level spell), Fear, Hallucinatory Terrain (as an action), Mage Armor, Polymorph, Ray of Enfeeblement, Speak with Dead, Web
1/day each: Dimension Door, Circle of Death, Finger of Death, Insect Plague, Scrying (as an action)
Create Servants (2/Day). Agnes targets up to four Humanoid corpses she can see within 60 feet of her and commands them to rise, transforming up to three of them into ghouls and one of them into a ghast under her control. The ghouls and ghast takes their turn immediately after Agnes. They last until they are destroyed or until Agnes dismisses them as an action.
Disgorge Spiders (Recharge 5-6). Agnes disgorges a Swarm of Insects (Spiders) in an unoccupied space she can see within 10 feet of her. The swarm is under Agnes´ control and takes its turn immediately after hers. The swarm disperses after 1 minute.
Illusory Appearance. Agnes covers herself and anything she is wearing or carrying with a magical illusion that makes her look like another creature of her general size and humanoid shape. The illusion ends if Agnes takes a bonus action to end it or if she dies. The changes wrought by this effect fail to hold up to physical inspection. For example, Agnes could appear to have smooth skin, but someone touching her would feel her rough flesh. Otherwise, a creature must take an action to visually inspect the illusion and succeed on a DC 20 Intelligence (Investigation) check to discern that Agnes is disguised.
Vengeful Rebuke. When a creature Agnes can see within 60 feet of her makes an attack towards her, she can cause unholy magic to tear of at the mind of the attacker. The attacker must succeed on a DC 18 Wisdom saving throw, or take 11 (2d10) psychic damage and be frightened until the end of their next turn.
Description
Physical Description.
"A stench of rotting flesh floods your nostrils, as a hunched old woman with withered red skin stretched tightly across her bones stands before you. Her body looks small and frail, as if it has experienced countless years of existence, yet exudes a strange and frightening feeling of malice. Her eyes are white and looks blind, with lots of long messy grey hair which seems to move as if it is sentient. She wears tattered robes which is decorated with hanging bones, a large cyclopian skull decorating her head and leans heavily on a small withered wooden staff. The old lady seems to have a kindly smile, showing a row of many tiny-sharp-teeth, which has worms and spiders swarming around them."
Agnes.
The ancient teifling witch Agnes is a mighty wizard and practitioner of the dark arts, specializing in the art of necromancy. It is rumored that she has lived for many centuries, though the specific amount is unknown. There is no doubt that the crone is ancient, and the amount of knowledge she has obtained throughout the years is nothing short of extraordinary, which is why some brave or foolish scholars attempt to find and make deals with the witch. Agnes is indebted to a otherworldly entity known as the wanderer, and seeks to repay her debt to be free from servitude. What Agnes gained from the wanderer to be indebted to it is unknown, though there are rumors that she gained knowledge, wealth, immortality, or even a hut with chicken feet, though these are among the many rumors surrounding the mysterious witch.
Personality.
The ancient witch appears outwardly as a kindly old lady, seeming calm and patient. This is but a facade to mask her true nature, that of a sly and manipulative coward. Agnes often attempts to appear as a benevolent and kind entity to get her unfortunate victims to trust her, only to doom them to a horrible fate when the time comes. Agnes is self serving, selfish, and manipulative, using others for her own gain without remorse. She often creates alliances with other creatures, though she has no loyalty and will betray just about anyone for self preservation.
Personality Trait. "I never confront a threat directly when deceit and skulduggery are available options."
Ideal. "In the end, it's everything and everyone for themselves in this cruel world."
Bond. "I lost my dear child many years ago, I know it is out there somewhere and I will find it one day."
Flaw. "I will betray anything and anyone to save my own skin, no matter how much i love them."
