Duality. Blueberry Dragons are considered both dragons and fey.

Fey ancestry. The dragon has advantage on saving throws against being charmed, and magic can't put the dragon to sleep.

Keen Senses. The dragon has advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on sight, hearing or smell.

Poisonous Palate. Despite their name, these dragons eat every type of toxic parasite that comes near its plant or any fermented fruit on it. This diet makes the dragon simultaneously smell like the fruit it represents and exhale intoxicating gases. Making it's breathing smell like a strong ale and having an effect similar to that of being drunk when inhaled in large doses.

Rejuvenation. If it dies, the blueberry dragon returns to life the next time its blueberry bush blossoms. Only by cutting down its bush can this trait be prevented from functioning.

Actions

Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +4 to hit, reach 5 ft., 1 target. Hit: 3 piercing damage.

Breath Weapon (Recharge 6). The dragon uses one of the following breath weapons:

Intoxicating Breath. The blueberry dragon exhales poisonous gases in a 15-foot cone. Each creature in that area must succeed on a DC 11 Constitution saving throw. On a failed save, the creature becomes magically poisoned for 1 hour.

Lethargic Yawn. The blueberry dragon exhales sleep gas in a 15-foot cone. Each creature in that area must succeed on a DC 11 Constitution saving throw, if they fail they are unable to take make a reaction and their movement is reduced by 15 feet. The creature can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on itself on a success.

Description

The fastest and most curious of the bunch, the blueberry dragon is the most friendly and cute fruit dragon of them all. It also enjoys sadistically playing with the bugs that come near its plant, before killing and eating them.

Variant: Fruit Dragon Protector

While the fruit dragon is guarding its plant and is within a 1-mile radius of it, the fruit dragon is named a protector. Protectors have the following abilities.

Protector. Such a fruit dragon gains the ability of Innate spellcasting. Its innate spellcasting ability is Charisma. The fruit dragon can innately cast the following spells, requiring no material components:

At will: prestidigitation
2/day each: barkskin, spike growth (centered on it's tree, bush, vineyard etc.)

Variant: Fruit Dragon Familiar

Some fruit dragons are willing to serve spellcasters as a familiar. Such fruit dragons have the following trait.

Familiar. The fruit dragon can serve another creature as a familiar, forming a magical bond with that willing companion. While the two are bonded, the companion can sense what the fruit dragon senses as long as they are within 1-mile of each other. While the fruit dragon is within 10 feet of its companion, the companion gains the fruit dragon's aroma, always smelling faintly of the type of fruit that the fruit dragon represents. At any time and for any reason, the fruit dragon can end its service as a familiar, ending the magical bond.
