Description
Arctic Dragons
Arctic Dragons have white scales and grey undersides. Arctics have wings and have a flight speed of 60 ft. and take shelter high in mountains or in really low temperatures. Their Cold Breath Attack looks like they are shooting frosty air from their mouth, in a spread sort of way. Arctics are smaller than the other two Dragons (Coastal and Desert)
Lair and Lair Actions
Arctic Dragons live high in the mountains or far in the Arctic plains, but usually in caves or burrows
Lair Actions
On initiative count 20 or above, the Arctic Dragon takes a lair action to cause one of the following effects; the Arctic Dragon can’t use the same effect two rounds in a row:
- (Mountains) Players are at Disadvantage on Dexterity
- (Arctic) Players take 1d4 Cold Damage every two rounds starting on round 1
Regional Effects
The region containing a legendary Arctic Dragon’s lair is Snowed Over, which creates one or more of the following effects:
- On each of the Players' turns (not including Bonus Actions or Reactions), the Player must roll a Constitution Saving Throw. If Failed, the Player takes 1d8 Cold Damage
- On each of the Players' turns (not including Bonus Actions or Reactions), The Player must roll a Dexterity Saving Throw. If Failed, the Player is Frozen/Petrified for that turn
If the Arctic Dragon dies, these effects fade over immediately
