Magic Resistance. The Wall of Wailing has advantage on saving throws against spells and other magical effects.
Illusionary Presence. The Wall of Wailing looks like a regular wall. Creatures must pass a DC 20 investigation or Insight check to break through this illusion to see the wall. This illusion is automatically broken if the wall attacks or uses its Unnerving Attraction.
Unending Calls for Death. The multiple faces of the wall continuously calls out for the release of death. Creatures that can hear it and speak the languages the wall speaks must make a DC 12 Constitution saving throw. Upon failure, their focus is torn towards the wails and will have disadvantage on any throws relying upon hearing or concentration for as long as they can hear the wails.
Soul Absorbing Bone Tower. If a creature ends its turn within 5ft, or hit by the Wall of Wailing while within 5 ft of it, they must succeed on a strength saving throw (DC 16) or be grappled. If a creature is grappled by this effect, they are also restrained. The creature can attempt to escape this grapple at the end of their turn. The 3rd turn after a creature is grappled, if they are unsuccessful in escaping, they are absorbed into the tower and their hitpoints immediately drop to 0. If a creature's htpoints drop to 0 by this effect, they are immediately dead. Absorbing a creature makes the wall grow an additional 5 ft in length
Sectioned Body. The Wall of Wailing's body is sectioned off into 10 ft increments. When the creatures hitpoints drop to 0, the section of the wall hit disintegrates. Over the next 1d4 days, the wall will slowly move towards itself, filling the gap that was created. This is the only time the wall is able to move.
Spellcasting. The Wall of Wailing has no native spell casting abilities. Instead, its spellcasting is based upon any spell scrolls that may have been absorbed by it. Its spellcasting is based on its Wisdom (spell save DC 15, +6 to hit with spell attacks). The Wall of Wailing can only use 1 spell per turn but has no spell slots. It cannot upcast any spells
1st level: magic missile,thunderwave
2nd level: acid arrow crown of madness
Multiattack. The Wall of Wailing can use its unnerving attraction. It then makes three attacks. The attacks it gets are based on any creatures/items it previously absorbed. Due to the magical nature of the Wall of Wailing, if it absorbs a spell scroll it can use the spell without breaking the scroll 1 time/turn.
Great Sword. Melee Weapon Attack: +6 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 13 (2d6 + 6) slashing damage.
Grapple. Melee Weapon Attack: +8 to hit, reach 5ft., one target. If hit, the target is grappled by the Wall of Wailing.
Unnerving Attraction. Each creature of the Wall of Wailing choice that is within 100 feet of the Wall of Wailing and aware of it must succeed on a DC 13 Wisdom saving throw or become charmed for 1 minute. A creature can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on itself on a success. If a creature's saving throw is successful or the effect ends for it, the creature is immune to the Wall of Wailing Unnerving Attraction for the next 24 hours. Creatures charmed by this effect must use their movement speed to get closer to the wall. There is no effect on their attacks to hit the Wall of Wailing or other creatures. They do not have to use their action or bonus action to dash. Once within 5 ft of the wall, they cannot leave its range unless they pass the wisdom saving throw at the end of their turn.
Description
The Wall of Wailing is an undead construct rumored to be maid by a Lich Lord a millennia ago. The wall is made up of anywhere between 5 and 100+ dead victims. Anyone who comes in contact with the wall that cannot break free of its grasp is absorbed by the wall, immediately killing any the victim. The victim's soul is then also absorbed by the wall, stopping the soul from ever being at rest. The victim's visage, and any equipment it might be holding, becomes a part of the wall, forever screaming for the death it was robbed of, permanently in the cursed realm of undeath. Killing a Wall of Wailing releases the souls inside. The entire wall must be destroyed, not just a section. If only a section is destroyed, the wall will not release the souls in that section.
If one was able to defeat the wall, it would get any magic items absorbed into the wall, as well as any spell scrolls. All spell scrolls would drop with 1 use. Any money or treasures in the wall are dissolved upon absorption.
