Psychic Defense. While Ursa Major is wearing no armor and wielding no shield, her AC includes her Wisdom modifier.

Actions

Multiattack. Ursa Major makes one bite attack, and two claw attacks. She may replace the bite attack with a spell.

Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +10 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 26 (5d8 + 4) piercing damage.

Claws. Melee Weapon Attack: +10 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 18 (4d6 + 4) slashing damage.

Mind Blast (Recharge 5–6). Creatures of the Ursa Major’s choice within 60 feet of her must succeed on a DC 20 Intelligence saving throw or take 45 (7d10 + 7) psychic damage and be stunned for 1 minute. A target can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on itself on a success.

Spellcasting (Psionics). Ursa Major casts one of the following spells, requiring no spell components and using Wisdom as the spellcasting ability (spell save DC 18):

At will: arcane hand, levitate, mage hand (the hand is invisible), mind sliver, speak with animals, telekinesis

3/day each: air bubble, calm emotions, identify, modify memory, power word pain, see invisibility, shield, telepathic bond

1/day each: globe of invulnerability, plane shift, psychic scream, scrying, telepathy, teleport, wall of force, weird

Legendary Actions

Ursa Major can take 3 legendary actions, choosing from the options below. Only one legendary action option can be used at a time and only at the end of another creature’s turn. Ursa Major regains spent legendary actions at the start of her turn.

Claws. Ursa Major makes one attack with her claws.

Teleport. Ursa Major teleports, along with any equipment she is wearing and carrying, to an unoccupied space she can see within 30 feet of it.

Change Gravity (Costs 3 Actions). Ursa Major casts the reverse gravity spell, using Wisdom as the spellcasting ability. The spell has the normal effect, except that Ursa Major can orient the area in any direction and creatures and objects fall toward the end of the area.

Description

Ursa Major and Ursa Minor resembles regular brown bears, but they are dressed up in white suits meant for travelling the Wildspace. Stories tell that the two were discovered not far from the Rock of Bral, drifting through Wildspace in a large metal shuttle of some kind, before being saved by some scavengers.

Unlike regular brown bears, the duo have achieved unique telepathic abilities, which has expanded their otherwise beastly minds, making them capable of telepathically communicate with anyone. The duo doesn't recall where they came from, or how they ended up like this, but rumors state that they're from a distant world located far away from our Material Planes.

It didn't take the Ursa Major long to prove herself reliable, which ultimately scored her and Ursa Minor the job as the Rock of Bral's Head Chief of Security, a job she takes a little too serious to the point where even Prince Andru and his court are wary of the bear. Because of this, many consider Ursa Major to be the real "ruler" of the Rock of Bral.

Ursa Major often converses with the beholder, Large Luigi, as he was exceptionally intelligent and wise, often thought to be in possession of complete knowledge of everything, rivaling even the gods.
