Life Sense. The Algori Devourers can detect the location of any living creature within 120 feet of it.
Horrific Appearance. Any humanoid that starts its turn within 30 feet of the Algori Devourers and can see the Algori Devourers true form must make a DC 15 Wisdom saving throw. On a failed save, the creature is frightened for 1 minute. A creature can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, with disadvantage if the Algori Devourers is within line of sight, ending the effect on itself on a success. If a creature's saving throw is successful or the effect ends for it, the creature is immune to the Algori Devourers Horrific Appearance for the next 24 hours. Unless the target is surprised or the revelation of the Algori Devourers true form is sudden, the target can avert its eyes and avoid making the initial saving throw. Until the start of its next turn, a creature that averts its eyes has disadvantage on attack rolls against the Algori Devourers
Unusual Nature. The Algori Devourers doesn't require air or sleep
Multiattack. The Algori Devourers makes four attacks with its tentacles. It may substitute any tentacle attack in place of a bite attack
Tentacle Melee Weapon Attack. +11 to hit, reach 15 ft., one target. Hit: 13 (2d6+6) bludgeoning damage and the target is grappled (escape DC 17). Until this grapple ends, the creature is restrained. The Algori Devourers has four tentacles, each of which can grapple one target.
Bite. +11 to hit, reach 10ft, one target. Hit: 19 (2d10+8) Piecing damage
Swallow. The Algori Devourers makes one bite attack against a Large or smaller target it is grappling. If the attack hits, the target is swallowed, and the grapple ends. The swallowed target is blinded, it has total cover against attacks and other effects outside the Algori Devourers, and it takes 10 (6d6) acid damage at the start of each of the Algori Devourers turns.
If the Algori Devourers takes 20 damage or more on a single turn from a creature inside it, the Algori Devourers must succeed on a DC 20 Constitution saving throw at the end of that turn or regurgitate all swallowed creatures, which fall prone in a space within 10 feet of the Algori Devourers. If the Algori Devourers dies, a swallowed creature is no longer restrained by it and can escape from the corpse using 10 feet of movement, exiting prone.
