Semi-Aquatic: Waddl'phin breathe air and can hold its breath for 45 minutes.
Rest Awareness: Waddl'phin remain semiconscious during sleep, with one eye open. -2 to perception during sleep and and it gets full benefits from sleep.
Swift Swimmer: While swimming, waddl'phin does not provoke opportunity attacks.
Breach: While in water over 10 ft. deep, waddl'phin can swim dash out of the water up to 10 ft. high and 10 ft. in any direction
Bite: Melee Attack: +2 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 2 (1d4) Piercing damage.
Tail Catapult: Ranged Weapon Attack: +3 to hit, range 15/50 ft., one target. Hit: 3 (1d4 + Dex) bludgeoning damage. Only on land. It can throw any item under 5 lbs.
Headbutt: Melee Attack: +4 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 4 (1d8) bludgeoning damage. Underwater or breaching only.
Tummy Slide: On slick, wet and/or smooth surfaces a Waddl'phin can dash while causing disadvantage on attack rolls against it. If on an incline Waddl'phin can only dash towards the direction of the incline.
Little Devil. When a hostile creature (up to one size larger than it) moves out of its reach, waddl'phin can make an opportunity attack to trip that enemy with its tail. The enemy rolls a Dex 6 save and on failure the enemy is knocked prone.
Description
Waddl'fin. Half Dolphin, half penguin, all demon.
Found along many tropical and arctic coasts waddl'fin hunt, play and cause mischief while migrating from one feeding ground to the next. They are sometimes kept as pets/roommates, by races that can handle the psychopaths.
Being near sentient, they are fluent in aquan and are described as speaking in near constant strings of expletives.
Based off the shore waddler from dragon trappers lodge. Printed small to the size of a halfling.
