Description

Abarcasaurs are brown, scaly reptiles with bony crests at the nape of their neck and distinctive spiny tails. The crest acts like natural armour as well as a means to regulate its body temperature. Trophy hunters are often contracted to hunt Abarcasaurs due to their often colourful crests that the rich and wealthy crave for conversation pieces.

Despite their imposing appearance, they are largely herbivorous. Their reputation as man-eating monsters from the east is based on isolated cases where pods of Abarcasurs decided to track the hunters who killed their matriarchs. When they put their mind to it, they are formidable opponents. They prefer to use their tails or hard skulls to batter their opponents into submission until they give up the fight. They very rarely pursue attackers unless their young are harmed or its during mating season.
