Aurelio Voltaire

Bardic Inspiration (3/day). As a bonus action, aurelio can give one chosen creature (other than him) a d6 inspiration die. The chosen creature must be within 60 feet of aurelio and able to hear him. Once within the next 10 minutes, the creature can roll the die and add the number rolled to one ability check, attack roll, or saving throw it makes. The creature can use the inspiration die after the roll is made but before the DM says whether it succeeds or fails. Once the inspiration die is rolled, it is lost. A creature can have only one inspiration die at a time.

Multiattack. Aurelio Voltaire makes two war lute attacks. It can replace one attack with a use of Spellcasting.

War Lute. Melee Weapon Attack: +4 to hit, reach 60 ft., one target. Hit: 5 (1d6 + 2) force damage.

Supreme Mockery (Recharge 4–6). Aurelio hurls a string of insults laced with enchantments at a creature he can see within 60 feet of him. If the creature can hear aurelio (though it need not understand him), it must succeed on a DC 17 Wisdom saving throw or take 66 (12d10) psychic damage and have disadvantage on the next attack roll it makes before the end of its next turn.

Aurelio Fable (1/day). Aurelio utters a short fable while targeting up to five creatures within 30 feet of him that he can see. Each target that can hear aurelio’s magical fable must make a DC 17 Wisdom saving throw, taking 36 (8d8) psychic damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.

Spellcasting. Aurelio casts one of the following spells, using Charisma as the spellcasting ability (spell save DC 17):

At will: dissonant whispers, vicious mockery, tasha's hideous laughter

1/day each: confusion, otto's irresistible dance, sleep

Taunt (2/Day). Aurelio can use a bonus action on his turn to target one creature within 30 feet of it. If the target can hear aurelio, the target must succeed on a DC 17 Charisma saving throw or have disadvantage on ability checks, attack rolls, and saving throws until the start of aurelio's next turn.

Demotivate (2/Day). Aurelio hurls magical insults at one creature it can see within 30 feet of itself. The target must succeed on a DC 17 Wisdom saving throw or become frightened of aurelio for 1 round. While frightened in this way, the target can’t take reactions, its speed is halved, and any hit aurelio scores against the creature is a critical hit.

Rousing Verse. When a creature aurelio can see within 30 feet of it fails a saving throw, Aurelio Voltaire magically weaves together stirring prose, allowing the creature to reroll the saving throw and use the higher result.
