Description
This massive bloodred and bulbous plant stands over 15 feet tall, with thick, fibrous flesh and long, sinuous vines that writhe and lash out at any nearby creature. Its leaves are a deep, verdant crimson, with serrated edges that look razor-sharp. At the center of the plant, a bulbous growth is lined with thick protective tissue, from which oozes thick viscous bloodlike sap that seems to pulse and throb with a life of its own.
The Bloodvine is a terrifying monster that preys on living creatures deep within dense jungle underbrush, draining their blood to sustain its own life. Its vines are quick and agile, snaking out to entangle prey and drain their prey. Once it has a creature firmly in its grasp, the Bloodvine will begin to drain their life force, using the stolen blood to nourish itself and grow ever larger.
It is known to emit a metallic pollen that frenzies nearby creatures behind fresh food for the Bloodvine to consume.
Those who seek to confront the Bloodvine must be prepared for a difficult battle, as its thick, woody stems and powerful vines make it a formidable opponent. But for those who are able to overcome its defenses and defeat the monster, the rewards are great - for the sap of the Bloodvine is a potent alchemical ingredient, sought after by healers and wizards alike.

- Summon Vines . The Bloodvine summons 2 smaller vines from beneath the ground next to enemy creatures with 120 ft. They last for 1 minute or until destroyed. Each vine has AC 12, 5 hit points, immunity to poison damage and vulnerability to fire damage.

Regional Effects
The region containing a legendary Bloodvine's ’s lair is permutated with the scent of fresh blood, which creates one or more of the following effects:
- Bloodlust: The Bloodvine's presence in an area causes an increase in aggressive behavior among nearby beasts. Any beast within 1 mile of the Bloodvine's lair must make a Wisdom saving throw (DC 12) at the start of its turn or be compelled to attack the nearest creature within reach. This effect lasts for 1 minute or until the beast takes damage from any source.
- Fertile Ground: The Bloodvine's presence can cause the surrounding area to become more fertile and overgrown. Any area within 1 mile of the Bloodvine's lair gains the overgrown terrain feature, causing movement to be difficult and reducing speed by half. Additionally, any plant-based creatures or creatures that rely on plant-based food sources in the area gain advantage on all ability checks made to find food or other natural resources.
If the Bloodvine dies, these effects fade over the course of 30 days.
