Tunneler: The Soldier Ankheg can burrow through solid rock at half its burrow speed and leaves a 10-foot-diameter tunnel in its wake.

Disarming Attack:
When the Ankheg hits a creature with an attack, it can expend one superiority die (d6) to attempt to disarm the target, forcing it to drop one item of your choice that it’s holding. You add the superiority die to the attack’s damage roll, and the target must make a Strength saving throw DC 15. On a failed save, it drops the object you choose. The object lands at its feet.

Lunging Attack

When the Ankheg hits a creature with an attack, it can expend one superiority die to increase your reach for that attack by 5 feet. If you hit, you add the superiority die to the attack’s damage roll.

Menacing Attack
When the Ankheg hits a creature with an attack, it can expend one superiority die to attempt to frighten the target. You add the superiority die to the attack’s damage roll, and the target must make a Wisdom saving throw. On a failed save, it is frightened of you until the end of your next turn.

Multiattack: The Soldier Ankheg can make two attacks: one with its bite and one with its claws.

Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 11 (2d6 + 4) slashing damage. If the target is a Large or smaller creature, it is grappled (escape DC 13). Until this grapple ends, the ankheg can bite only the grappled creature and has advantage on attack rolls to do so.
