Traits

Stench of Death. Any creature who starts their turn within 10 feet of the Draco Deadnaught must succeed on a Constitution saving throw (DC 14) or become poisoned until the start of their next turn. On a successful saving throw, the creature is immune to this creature’s stench for 24 hours.

Damaging Aura. (Crackling Death) Any creature who moves within 10 feet of this monstrosity or who starts their turn there takes necrotic electric damage (1d4 necrotic + 1d4 lightning).

Actions

Multiattack. The Draco Deadnaught makes two Serrated Sword attacks and one Tail attack.

Serrated Sword. +6 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 13 2d8+4 slashing damage.

Tail. +6 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 8 1d8+4 bludgeoning damage. If the target is a Large or smaller creature, it must succeed on a DC 14 Strength saving throw or be knocked prone.

Telekinetic Grasp. The Draco Deadnaught chooses one creature it can see within 100 feet of it weighing less than 400 pounds. The target must succeed on a Strength saving throw (DC 15) or be pulled up to 80 feet directly toward the Deadnaught.

Bonus Actions

Teleporting Step. The Draco Deadnaught teleports a number of feet up to its walking speed to an unoccupied space it can see.

Dragon’s Gaze (Recharge 6). One creature within 60 feet of the Deadnaught must make a Wisdom saving throw (DC17) or become frightened of the monstrosity. While frightened in this way, each time the target takes damage, they take 4 extra damage. The target can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of their turns, ending the effect on themselves on a success.

Reactions

Shape Theft. After the Draco Deadnaught kills a Medium or smaller Humanoid, it can magically transform itself to look and feel like that creature while retaining its game statistics (other than its size). This transformation lasts until the Deadnaught dies or uses an action to end it.
