Description
A werefox sighting is considered a bad sign, both for the animals and people that could be mauled by the creature in its search for food, and the uptake of werefoxes that inevitably follows from one or more persons walking away from a mauling with untreated bites.
However, Werefoxes are not commonly observed biting outside of being backed into a corner. Most commonly, they avoid direct confrontation with humanoids, hunting in the woods if possible. If unable to get food, they resort to hunting livestock, and only if starving with no other food sources do they resort to hunting humanoids.
