Legendary Resistance (3/day): When the Void Knight Ascendant makes a saving throw and fails, it can instead choose to succeed.

Damage Threshold. A single attack dealing bludgeoning, piercing, or slashing damage must meet or exceed 20 points of damage in order to deal any damage at all.

Cloak of the Void. The Void Knight Ascendant is wreathed in an inky black cloak made of pure primordial void. While it remains, the Cloak confers the following effects:

  • Immunity to Cold Damage
  • Vulnerability to Radiant Damage
  • Darkness: the Void Knight Ascendant is the center of a 30 ft. field of magical darkness that moves with it. It cannot be dispelled, but it can dissipate as detailed below.
  • Regeneration: While the Cloak remains, the Void Knight Ascendant regains 30 hit points at the beginning of its turn. This does not take effect if it has taken Radiant damage since its last turn.
  • The Cloak has 120 hit points, and can only be effected by radiant damage, to which it is vulnerable. As it loses health, it dissipates:
    • 90 HP: Creatures within 5 ft. can see the Void Knight Ascendant
    • 40 HP: Creatures within 10 ft. can see the Void Knight Ascendant
    • 0 HP: The Cloak is shattered, and cannot be reformed for 24 hours

 

Actions

Cosmic Slam. (Recharge 5-6) Range: 15 ft., all creatures in range must make a DC 20 Strength saving throw. On a failure, a creature takes 21 (6D6) bludgeoning damage and is knocked 15 ft. away from the Void Knight Ascendant.

Multi-attack: the Void Knight Ascendant makes 1 Stomp attack and 2 Sweep attacks.

Stomp. Melee Weapon Attack: +16 to hit, reach 10 ft., 1 target. Hit: the target must make a DC 18 Dexterity saving throw or be knocked prone.

Sweep. Melee Weapon Attack: +16 to hit, reach 15 ft., 1 target. Hit: 23 (2d12 + 10) slashing damage and 11 (2d10) cold damage. The target must make a DC 20 Strength saving throw or be moved 10 ft. back.

Legendary Actions

Clear the Field (Costs 2 Actions). the Void Knight Ascendant moves 25 feet and makes a Stomp attack.

Mythic Actions

When the Void Knight Ascendant falls below 100 HP, its chitinous plates burst off its body, dealing 7 (2d6) piercing damage to any creature within 30 ft. The Void Knight Ascendant loses its Damage Threshold feature, and has only one option for its 3 Multi-Attacks. Its speed increases to 60 ft.
