False Appearance. While the blood tree remains motionless, it is indistinguishable from a normal tree.
Many Vines. An individual vine of the tree may be targeted, using the tree's base AC. If 12 or more damage is done to the vine in a single attack, it is severed, freeing anyone grappled by that vine.
Multiattack. The treant makes two Grappling Vine attacks.
Grappling Vine. Melee Weapon Attack: +10 to hit, reach 20 ft., one target. Hit: 16 (2d8+ 6) bludgeoning damage, and the target is grappled (escape DC 16). Until this grapple ends, the creature is restrained.
Shower of Thorns. Each creature in a 20-foot square starting from a point within range (80ft.) must make a Dexterity saving throw or suffer 11 (3d6) piercing damage.
Drinking Vine. Melee Weapon Attack: +10 to hit, reach 20 ft., one target. Hit: 10 (1d6+ 6) bludgeoning damage plus 12 (3d6) necrotic damage. The target must succeed on a DC 13 Constitution saving throw or its hit point maximum is reduced by an amount equal to the damage taken. This reduction lasts until the creature finishes a long rest. The target dies if this effect reduces its hit point maximum to 0.
