Traits

Legendary Resistance (3/Day). If the dragon fails a saving throw, it can choose to succeed instead.

Cake Topper. If a player consumes the dragons sugary physique in anyway, they must succeed on a DC 10 Constitution saving throw or become petrified for the remainder of the dragon being alive. If a creature's saving throw is successful or the effect ends for it, the creature is immune to the dragon's sugary physique for the next 24 hours.

Make a Wish. If a creature were to blow out all candles on the back of this dragon they can make a wish in reason to come true.

Party Stopper. For every candle that is snuffed out, the dragon takes a -1 to its Attack Rolls and Saving Throws.

Actions

Multiattack. The dragon can use its Welcoming Presence. It then makes three attacks: one with its bite and two with its claws.

Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +10 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 17 (2d10 + 6) piercing damage plus 3 (1d6) fire damage.

Claw. Melee Weapon Attack: +10 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 13 (2d6 + 6) slashing damage.

Welcoming Presence. Each creature of the dragon’s choice that is within 120 feet of the dragon and aware of it must succeed on a DC 18 Wisdom saving throw or become charmed for 1 minute. A creature can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on itself on a success. If a creature’s saving throw is successful or the effect ends for it, the creature is immune to the dragon’s Welcoming Presence for the next 24 hours.

Candle Blow Out (Recharge 5–6). The dragon exhales spit through its candles as fire spreads in 60-foot cylinder rows. Each creature in that area must make a DC 17 Dexterity saving throw, taking 56 (16d6) fire damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.

Legendary Actions

The dragon can take 3 legendary actions, choosing from the options below. Only one legendary action option can be used at a time and only at the end of another creature's turn. The dragon regains spent legendary actions at the start of its turn.

Detect. The dragon makes a Wisdom (Perception) check.

Bite Attack. The dragon makes a bite attack.

Cake Shake (Costs 2 Actions). The dragon dances and shakes in a circle, hurling cake frosting. Each creature within 10 feet of the dragon must succeed on a DC 20 Dexterity saving throw or take 10 (1d6 + 8) bludgeoning damage and become restrained. The creature can continue a DC 15 Strength saving throw at the start of their turn to disengage out of the frosting.

Description

The odor baked sweets and the warmth of an oven surrounds a cake dragon, whose spinal frill made of candles light up the room as its cake shaped body dripped with frosting and sprinkles define its silhouette. Its thrilled snout drools a viscus saliva at all times, and its eyes dance with flame when it is confronted by a party of adventurers filled with high joy of emotions.
